An event-driven programming course taught through the Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 environment. Students gain not only an understanding of programming language Visual Basic 2008 but also how to use it in the context of a graphical user interface, such as Windows 7. Since Windows programs often share information, this programming language becomes very useful when creating macros and adding programming enhancements.
