Course Description:

This course will cover the basics of real estate law with emphasis on New York State real estate law and include the practice and custom of real estate law in WNY. Students will learn the key issues in representing the parties to a real estate transaction, the buyer, the seller, and the bank. The course will provide a practical approach to understanding real estate transactions. Students will draft the basic real estate documents, as well as basic real estate litigation complaints. LEC
