Provides an overview of various approaches to cost/price analysis and their roles in government acquisitions. Topics include quantitative methods of analyzing and forecasting costs, pricing practices and theory used by private industry, analysis of direct and indirect costs, the use of weighted guidelines, fact-finding and negotiation techniques, the Truth in Negotiations Act, cost accounting standards, and special-pricing problems.
