Introduction to the management of human resources for clinicians and supervisors of health-care units. Key course components include leadership principles and styles, motivational theory, communication skills, counseling and corrective action, performance appraisal, management of change, work groups and labor relations, etc. The course emphasizes the application of theory to practical day-to-day supervision in the workplace.
