American Heart Association certifications in Basic Life Support, Heartsaver First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen Training
The course will provide the student with American Heart Association certifications in Basic Life Support, Heartsaver First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen Training. The AHA's BLS courses for healthcare providers and prehospital providers teach students how to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. Heartsaver First Aid is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens. This course is a hybrid course (classroom and online) that teaches students how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials.
